In compliance with the provisions of art. 11 of LO 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of 27 April (RGPD), in relation to the processing of your data we inform you of the following:

 

1. Responsible for the Treatment

Marimon-Buendia y Carranza Correduría de Seguros, S.L. is responsible for the processing of your data.

2. Purpose of the treatment

The activity of advising, proposing and carrying out work prior to the conclusion of an insurance contract, assistance in the conclusion of these contracts and in the management and execution of such contracts, including assistance and advice in the event of a claim. You authorize us to transmit on your behalf the communications that you send us, including those of subscription, modification and cancellation of insurance contracts, for which your instructions must be stated.

In the case of life or investment products, we also process the data provided in order to comply with our legal obligations to prevent money laundering.

The sending by electronic and traditional means of information about insurance products offered by the Brokerage that are of interest to you, especially when the insurance contract has been cancelled and coverage of the risk is necessary.

Regarding the web option "Work with us", the purpose will be exclusively for the evaluation and contact of the user in a future selection process.

3. Retention

Data relating to the insurance mediation activity will be kept for the duration of your policies and, once cancelled, for six years, in accordance with the provisions of art. 30.1 of the Commercial Code.

Data relating to the prevention of money laundering will be kept for ten years, in accordance with art. 25 of Law 10/2010, of April 28th.

Data processed for commercial purposes will be kept for the duration of your policy/s, as well as once cancelled as long as you do not express your opposition.

Regarding the web option "Work with us", the data will be kept for 24 months, as long as they are updated[DC1] .

4. Legitimacy of the treatment

The basis of legitimacy of the processing of the insurance mediation activity is the execution of the contract. By providing us with the data of a third party, you guarantee us the legitimate processing of the data.

The basis legitimizing the processing for the prevention of money laundering is the fulfillment of our legal obligations.

The basis that legitimizes the processing for commercial purposes is a legitimate interest in the promotion of our insurance products.

Regarding the web option "Work with us", the legitimate basis for processing is to obtain your consent for the evaluation of the suitability for any vacancy at The Broker.

5. Recipients

In the insurance brokerage activity, your data must necessarily be transferred to insurance companies, underwriting agencies and, when necessary for risk coverage, to other insurance brokers.

In compliance with our obligations to prevent money laundering, the data may be communicated to the competent authorities in this field.

Regarding the web option "Work with us", the data will not be disclosed to third parties.

When, due to the use of technology or the underwriting of insurance contracts with entities outside the European Economic Area, an international transfer of data takes place, this will be covered by the General Data Protection Regulation.

6. Rights

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time without affecting the validity of the previous processing carried out. You may also exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion and portability of your data and those of limitation or opposition to the processing. To do so, you should contact the e-mail address info@marimonbuendia.com, attaching a copy of your ID card. If you consider that the processing of personal data does not comply with current regulations, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority: Spanish Data Protection Agency, c/ Jorge Juan, 6 CP 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es.   

 

This Privacy Policy is updated periodically to ensure its validity, so it may be modified.
